AMY BORGEN
Announcer
Amy spent her childhood playing in trees, gymnasiums, and on tennis courts. She worked as a wildland firefighter and attended college in Spokane, WA, before taking the long way back to Montana via Bolivia, volunteering with a
homework/meal program for kids working on the streets.
She moved to the Flathead Valley in 2004, and upon discovering YNOP, became an immediate fan. Amy indulged her passion for continued learning by teaching English and Spanish at a local therapeutic high school for many years, and then at Whitefish Christian Academy with dear and eager 6th graders.

Amy loves the language of music, but you won't catch her singing a solo any time soon. Her favorite book of the Bible just might be Acts, with its convincing examples of early Christian apologetics, as well as the touch-and-go adventures of those early believers tuning in to the Holy Spirit.
In her spare time, Amy can be found jumping around on a tennis court or skiing powder depending on the season. When not moving, she enjoys reading historic fiction and writing poetry. But, her favorite events are those featuring participation by her three children. Her husband, two cats and two hamsters complete her clan.
Listen to Amy, along with Dave Brown, on the YNOP Morning Show, weekday mornings 6:00 - 9:00!
