Mary Brown , Announcer
"After a variety of circumstances, I found myself living and working in Colorado Springs, CO, where I met my husband, Vernon, who was enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and stationed at the USAF Academy. A few months later, we were married and on our way to starting a family. We have four children: Karleen, Vernon Jr., Julia Kathryn, and Wesley. We also have a bunch of critters: 2 dogs, a cat, a bunny, a hamster, a frog, and 5 aquariums!
"We moved to Portland, OR, so my husband could attend Portland Bible College. We then moved to Havre to plant Christian Life Center in 1998. I am the Executive Secretary, Women's Pastor, Worship Team Director, Super Church Leader, and a Bible Bears Leader. I also work full-time as a Paralegal. Any time I can steal beyond that, you can find me writing poems, short stories, novels, and more recently songs. I have authored two books -- "Mothers Treasurers: A Recipe Book" and [a children's book] "Strawberries" -- and am the recipient of 21 poetry awards. In 2005 I was invited to participate in a poetic compilation, "Theatre of the Mind," Noble House of the United Kingdom, featuring 219 of the world's poets.
