I have been with YNOP since January 2010, when I started working just a few hours a week. I had no idea it would turn into the job I have now, but I’am absolutely overjoyed to work with such amazing co-workers in such a God-filled environment. I’ve always had a fascination with Christian broadcasting, spending two years studying broadcasting at Pensacola Christian College and also taking an internship at a radio station in Alaska.

Born and raised in Montana, I come from a pretty lively family of 10. I am the third oldest, this means that I have 5 younger siblings and two older brothers. There is never a dull moment! In my free time, I enjoy all of the “Montana” ideas of fun: hiking, shooting, ice-skating, snow boarding, cliff-jumping, and my favorite: hunting!! I love being out in God’s creation and am reminded daily of what a beautiful Artist He truly is!

My other hobbies include playing the piano, guitar, sign language, driving with my windows rolled down in the freezing cold, and COFFEE (although I’m not quite as addicted as Nick!!)

I love people and am reminded everyday that none of the things we gain in this life will matter except for the difference we make in a person’s life. It seems as though sometimes I become so caught up in things that really don’t matter at all, kind of reminds me of an old bluegrass song. . “You can’t take it with you when you go. It’ll just be you and God and you’re going to have to show. All those possessions will be left behind on earth. You’ve never seen a U-haul pull behind a hearse. . .”

My prayer is to love as Christ loved, John 15:12, “This is my commandment, that ye love one another, as I have loved you.” Now that’s truly making a difference.

I don’t have one specific life verse, but one that’s meant a lot to me lately is II Corinthians 4:6 “For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness , hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.” So many times we try to shine on our own, but it doesn’t work. Letting Christ shine through us is so simple and effective!
