Celebrating 27 Years of God's Grace

Just before 6:00am, July 28, 1983, a small group of people gathered in a building on First Street in downtown Havre to witness the debut of a new radio station. This radio station was to be special...it had no owner...it was to be supported by donations from listeners...and, most significantly, it was to be dedicated exclusively to proclaiming the message and hope of Jesus Christ!

A few minutes before 6:00am "the switch was thrown", the transmitter flashed on the air, and the powerful 100,000 Watt signal of KXEI 95.1 FM was on the air for the first time! At 6:00am, the familiar words of the Lord's Prayer were spoken and this exciting new radio ministry was ON THE AIR! Many tears were shed that morning, and much praise offered, as KXEI began broadcasting! It was the culmination of nearly 4 years of hard work by many, many, people who believed that this new broadcast ministry was God's plan.
No one present in that room that morning of July 28, 1983, would have ever imagined what the Lord had planned!

Now, 27 years later, we take time to praise and thank the Lord for His amazing provision...KXEI is still on the air proclaiming God's message 24/7...and, the ministry that began in that cramped little studio in downtown Havre has now grown into a network of radio stations and translators, broadcasting from more than 40 locations in Montana, Wyoming, and Idaho!

Join us for a very special time of praise and thanks to God on Wednesday, July 28th, during the morning show as we thank the Lord for the ministry of Your Network of Praise, and re-dedicate the ministry to Him as we begin our 28th year of ministry!
