Helena
Helena Christian School is now accepting applications for the 2010-2011 school year. Helena Christian School is a non-denominational Christian school located in the Helena valley with a pre-school and kindergarten program, and grades 1-12 as well. September 1st – North Central Montana
Area farmers in north central Montana are encouraged to participated in the “First Furrows” program that the Greater Havre Area Ministerial Associated has initiated to help raise funds to build a much needed designated chapel for the residents at Northern Montana Care Center. “In Loving Memory of Those Who Plowed the First Furrow” is an effort to find 100 area farmers who will donated 100 bushels of wheat during the 2010 harvest season. By filling out an intention sheet and listing a preferred elevator, farmers may designate their wheat to be sold at market price. The funds will go towards the “Space For Grace” chapel project. Farmers will also be asked for permission to publish the names of their loved ones. FMI call Ila at 262-1956.

September 10th-11th – Bozeman and Billings
Montana Family Foundation will be hosting “Friends of the Family 2010” benefit banquet featuring General William G. Boykin at two different locations:
Bozeman – Friday, September 10th – Montana State University
Billings – Saturday, September 11th – Crowne Plaza
General Boykin was one of the original members of the US Army’s Delta Force and has served 36 years in the Military. Today he is an ordained minister with a passion for spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. For a table or tickets call 628-1141 or visit www.montanafamily.org

September 12th – Missoula
Sarah Palin will be speaking on Sunday, September 12th at the Hilton Garden Inn, 3720 N Reserve St, to raise funds for Teen Challenge Montana Outreach. Montana Outreach is part of Teen Challenge Pacific Northwest Centers which offers faith based recovery services to men and women and children.
