The Healing Rooms of the Mission Valley are open every Friday from 4 to 6 pm at 22 Second Ave. SW. in Ronan, MT. There is no charge and no appointment needed. Magazines for Troops based in Lakeside fills a common request by deployed troops, a need for reading material. Postage to serve 153 units is a constant battle – currently running close to $2000 per month. $10.95 will ship a box containing approximately 40 magazines with a variety of titles to remind soldiers that they are not forgotten and to put a smile on their faces! On any given night, nearly 600 U.S. Veterans will experience homelessness in Montana. Colstrip Area Moms Organization (or CAMO), meets at First Baptist Church, 1st and 3rd Wednesdays from 9:15 am - 11:00 am. It is for ANY mother who has children still in the home. (not just moms of preschoolers) Child care is available onsite up to age 6; if care for older kids is needed you MUST call ahead. There is NO membership fee. This group meets as a ministry of First Baptist Church, but is non-denominational in its operation.
